Planetary !!!READ DESCRIPTION!!!
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
!!! IT IS VERY EASY TO SOFTLOCK YOURSELF SO READ CAREFULLY !!!
Controls:
Left click to build, [1]-[4] to select a structure/action, [T] to open research menu and hold right click to orbit.
Structures:
Cities: (purple/pink spikes): These generate randomly across the map. They have an influence range of 2 tiles in every direction, which you can see by hovering over them.
Industries: These generate energy, and can be built for the cost of: 15 energy, 20 plastic. They only work when in the influence area of a city or of a port.
Ports: These act a bit like cities, but that have an influence range of 1 tile. They can be placed on coastal tiles. They cost 20 energy and 25 plastic to build.
Extractors: These extract plastic out of rocky land (grey) and turn red when all of the plastic of that tile has been extracted. You can also hover over them to see how much is left. They cost 25 energy and 0 plastic to build.
Unlocking tiles:
You can unlock a tile by left clicking it. You can only unlock tiles adjacent to tiles you already unlocked (the tiles you can unlock are cyan)
Once a tile is unlocked, you may select a structure (by pressing 1-3) and clicking on it again to build it.
You can also press 4 and click on tiles to remove their structure.
Getting started:
To get started, it is recommended to unlock a tile and immediately build an industry on that tile, to not softlock yourself. Then unlock another tile, of rocky type, and place an extractor on it to start getting plastic. From there, continue expanding, making sure to have enough energy and plastic to not softlock yourself.
Win condition:
The goal of the game is to unlock every single tile. There is no need to extract all the plastic, just what you need.
Other features
You might notice that sometimes, tiles you unlock become polluted again. You will need to reclaim it.
